Starting in the picture-book village of Hale, South Manchester, crossing the iconic railway crossing and taking center stage through the main village high street. The race then heads out into the picturesque countryside of Ashley, weaving through the country lanes, past the much loved Greyhound Public House before entering the south gates of Ashley Hall and finishing in the halls spectacular grounds.

It’s a fantastic course that benefits from a full road closure from start to finish. The opportunity to run through a traffic free Hale village is not one to be missed, and judging by the lively euphoric response this year, 2024 is going to be a great occasion.
