We are pleased to be working with our official charity partner for the Watersons Hale 10K; THE TOY APPEAL.
A donation from every entry will go to this fantastic charity along with the margin from each pice of race merchandise that is sold. We also encourage those who can, to make a small donation themselves when entering.
The Toy Appeal is run entirely by volunteers whose mission is to ensure all children have presents to open on Christmas morning, “we want to ensure all children experience the magic of Christmas and ach child receives a red sack filled with 8 items suitable to their age”.
£25 will provide a toy sack for a child, schools, social workers, refuges and foodbank can request a toy sack for a child.
It’s an all year round operation, ensuring we are ready to deliver the Christmas sacks to schools, social workers and foodbanks by early December. We raise funds and buy all the toys from toy wholesalers, ensuring the children receive brand new toys in their toy sacks.
